Should You Create Under The Influence?

I want to start this episode off with the caveat that my intention with today’s topic is not to piss people off. Your opinion is your opinion. I’m not here to judge you or be the boss of you. 

My only intention is to help artists excavate their own authentic art and freedom through creativity. And sometimes, that means exploring topics that are a little more “taboo.”

Because that is what makes honest art, y’all. 

So let’s get honest: What happens to honest art when we add certain…substances (*wink wink*)…to the mix?

Creating art under the influence: Is there any benefit?

Again, NOT here to tell you what to do. I mean…I wouldn’t tell Snoop not to get high while creating. I think he’s doing a pretty good job if you ask me!

Think of this episode as more of an informational/informative one if anything, where we’re asking the question, “Can substances be a tool in helping us create our best work?”

Yes, I’ll be calling on my own personal experience to help me tell the story, but we’ll be taking a look at both sides (the positives and negatives) and…
