In Color Course for Rebels 101, we cover how to:
- Hone in on your creative process
- Build depth with your colors and their values
- Use saturation to convey your message (and avoid making your canvas too noisy)
- Play with tones to change the mood, or even the style, of your work
- Get to sling some paint!
In Color Course for Rebels 102, we take it to the next level and dive deeper into color and fine art composition, covering how to:
- Create the ultimate badass color combinations unique to YOU!
- Identify focal points and ways to keep the collector engaged in the art
- Learn how composition impacts figurative, abstract, and landscape paintings
- Think outside of the box and play around with some new tools
- Learn how to convey energy and find your voice in your art
- Work with glazes, fixatives, and other mediums
- PLUS: Be a fly on the wall and watch me create a painting in real time!

Through painting, mark-making, and possibly a little dancing, my workshops are known for being fun, but also for helping artists find their signature style. So, while I do lots of demonstrations during my workshops, I don’t teach you to paint like me…I teach you to paint like you! Why? Because when we create Honest Art, we have the power to change ourselves and the world. Honest Art carries the powerful energy of authenticity and therefore creates the greatest impact on those who are lucky enough to interact with your art. I’d say that’s a pretty big deal.
