How to Host Your Own Art Workshop

On this show, I talk a lot about how artists can incorporate various revenue streams into their businesses. Things like print work, commissions, and getting into galleries. But now? We’re adding something new to the mix and talking about how artists can make money from hosting their own art workshops.

I painted for nearly a decade before I ever even thought about teaching. But from the very first time I did it, I LOVED how effortlessly I could share my passion with others. So, I’m saying, don’t count yourself out just yet. You may like it!

Hosting an art workshop: Everything you need 

Whether you know you want to teach others about art or you’re a bit skeptical about whether it’s for you, workshops are a great way to get your feet wet. 

You don’t have to rebrand your art biz to be all about teaching, but you can try it out and see if it’s something you want to do more of. 

Worried about knowing HOW to do it all? Don’t be. In this episode, I’m going to give you some of my best tips, including: 

• How to price your workshops
• How to figure out what you want to teach or talk about 
• How to market your workshops so they reach the right audience
