How A Professional Photoshoot Can Benefit Your Business with Alicia Leigh Rios

Let me start by admitting something: I really don’t like having my picture taken. Sitting and posing in front of a camera feels incredibly awkward to me. You might be surprised since I record a video version of each episode of The Honest Art Podcast, but for me, photos and videos are worlds apart.

That’s why when I find an exceptional brand photographer for artists, like Alicia Leigh Rios, I’m excited to shout about it.

A few weeks ago, we finished our session, and I shared the experience on my Instagram stories, which led to a flood of questions about brand photos and their role in art careers — mainly, “Are they necessary?”

That’s what we’re getting into on the show!

Meet Alicia: A brand photographer for artists

As I mentioned, I’m not a fan of having brand photos taken. But it was time for an update, and when I was searching for a brand photographer, there were a few reasons I chose Alicia.

First, she’s local. Second, her work is INCREDIBLE. She has a knack for capturing people in their best light and truly knows how to bring out creativity and personality in each shoot. And because working with her made me feel more comfortable on camera, I knew I had to have her on the show to share MORE of that experience. 

I know I’m not the only one who feels camera shy, so in this episode, we’ll be discussing:
