How Your Art Validates the Human Experience

This episode is for all the artists out there who don’t understand how important you, and your art, are to the world. 

You aren’t just painting — you are barring the most important parts of yourself onto the canvas. You’re connecting to others who need the same empathy, support, and encouragement you need, too. You’re showing others they are seen by someone who knows exactly how they feel, whether during life’s highs or lows. 

Art validates the human experience, and that’s the work that you, as an artist, are doing, whether you believe it or not.

What exactly does validating the human experience mean?

Your voice matters. Your feelings matter. Your art matters. It always has, and someone else out there needs your vulnerability. Don’t be afraid to show it.
