Ana Stapleton: A Creative Force

What lies on the other side of your comfort zone?

So much, y’all. 

When we do something new, when we break from the path, when we take the step (even when we’re scared)… those experiences bring us lessons and revelations we otherwise would miss out on. 

New experiences make us who we are, as artists, and as people. They can change us, and help us make our best, most honest art. 

That’s what breaking out of your comfort zone can do. And for Ana Stapleton, my guest on this episode of the Honest Art Podcast, that couldn’t be more true. 

Meet Ana Stapleton

The title of this episode says it all — Ana is a creative force to be reckoned with. Not only is she an artist, but her career includes art consulting, styling, design, and writing. 

Her work has been featured in several notable hotels in Austin, TX, Ana’s current hometown (and mine!), and focuses mainly on feminine identity, cultural diversity, and dreamscapes. 

Today, Ana and I get deep into the weeds of SO MANY things, but mainly: 

• Going against the grain and doing whatever tf you want (because it’s your life, after all)
• How a change in direction can bring you new experiences (and closer to where you’re meant to be!)
• How to open yourself up to those new experiences
• Making connections in the art world (besides galleries)
