When Woo Meets Real Life: Spiritual Practices for Artists

It started with a feeling.

Not a business plan. Not a strategy. A feeling.

One day, I was sitting there meditating, imagining what it would feel like to walk into my first solo show (the lights, the smell of fresh paint and champagne, my heart pounding with pride), and a few months later, I was living it. 

That’s when I realized that energy is real, and when we learn to use it intentionally, it changes everything.

In this episode of The Honest Art® Podcast, we’re diving into what happens when spirituality meets real life, and how these simple, science-backed spiritual practices and energy tools can totally shift the way you create and sell your art. 

Because creativity isn’t just about talent or technique, it’s about energy and how learning to work with it can transform everything from your studio sessions to your sales.

Spiritual Practices for the Real World Artist

There are four tools that have become a significant part of my creative rhythm:

1. Meditation and Emotion: How sitting in the feeling of what you desire changes your frequency.
2. Palo Santo Clearing: Why scent, ritual, and repetition help you drop into flow.
3. Act As If: Embodying the artist you want to become, one choice at a time. 
4. Nature and Grounding: The most underrated creative recharge out there. 

These practices have helped me manifest shows, connect deeper to my intuition, and build a business that actually feels good. No mysticism required. Just energy, presence, and a willingness to play.
