The Importance of Connecting With Other Artists, Ft. Studio Elite Members

As an artist, you have one of the most creative, fulfilling, passion-driven, and (yes) lonely careers. 

Being an artist is amazing work. Work we wouldn’t trade for the world. But admittedly, it can get lonely at times, too. 

You’re constantly in your head, trying to pull how you feel out and put it on the canvas. Because of that, there’s little to no teamwork involved and the toll of constantly being so vulnerable and in-tune with your work can be heavy at times!

To add to it, the life of an artist is not one that many other people understand. Even people who love you dearly might not understand why your work is so important — or how it can be so taxing. 

That’s why it is SO important to connect with other artists. We need A community to help us grow and offer support, whether we’re riding the high of slinging paint or deep in the muck of feeling stuck (or tapped out creatively). 

That’s why, on this episode of the Honest Art Podcast, I’m bringing in a few very special guests to show you why community is the greatest thing you can invest in as an artist. 

What Studio Elite artists say about connecting with other artists 

Studio Elite is my six-month mastermind program that helps artists take their businesses to the next level, as well as learn from fellow artists in a welcoming and inclusive space. This program is only available twice a year, by application only.
