Anne Neilson Proving There Are No Limits for Artists

“Coming into your own.” It’s something we have to do as kids (gosh, remember being a teenager?? No thanks). It’s something we have to do as adults. It’s absolutely something we have to do as artists. 

No one picks up a paintbrush on the first try and immediately knows their niche or their style. Just like anything else, becoming YOUR kind of artist takes experimentation, exploration, and a whole lot of spilled paint.

However, I see so many artists give in when they feel like they aren’t enough, or they don’t possess a certain skill set they think they need to reach their big goals. 

“Oh, I didn’t go to art school, so I can’t take this thing full-time.”

“I have no idea how to run a business. Art can never be anything more to me than a hobby.”

I recently chatted with Anne Neilson, all about exploring our self-perceived limits and how, as artists, we truly are… limitless. 

Meet Anne Neilson

Anne got her start as an artist with oil painting back in 2003. Since then, she’s gone on to do so many amazing things! She found her niche with ethereal style paintings, mostly angels, and is now a published author, home curator, and gallery owner!
