How to Sell Art for the Holidays. Hint: Start Now!

Are the holidays on your mind yet? If not, they should be! Because even if you think it’s too early to start worrying about selling your art at the end of the year…it’s never too early.

Think about it — do stores decide to run a Black Friday sale the week before? No! They plan out months, sometimes even a year ahead to ensure they have the product and advertising (and everything in between) ready to go. It’s the same for your art.

If you plan on launching a holiday collection, you’ve GOT to start working on this now! Four months, in all reality, isn’t really that much time to plan a collection, give yourself space to create it, price it, market it, and have it delivered in time to be under someone’s tree.

It’s never too early to start planning

Even as an artist, planning is your friend! I promise it won’t stifle that creative mind of yours. In fact, I’d say it will make things easier on you because you won’t be scrambling (stress doesn’t usually make way for creativity). 

But even if you’re not planning a holiday launch, this is still good stuff to know because it can be applied for any launch any time of the year!
